Summertime and fun with baby

Summer in Michigan is sometimes a fickle thing. We didn't have a super hot summer but it was a stormy one. On more than one occasion we had the tornado siren go off and I had to haul Madeline and myself down to the basement. If it looked like we were going to have bad weather I kept a couple of toys and books handy in the diaper bag so that we had something for entertainment.
We did get to do some fun things this summer such as 4th of July fireworks and getting Maddy into the pool for the 1st time.
