Someone make it stop...

Well Eric's doctor called the other day and things may not be too great. He has to go see a cardiologist next Wednesday at 9:30. There was something in the echo that they did not like. Now I don't know how much the doctor told my husband because I wasn't home when he got the call but I am worried as all heck about him. I know he's had his murmur for almost 32 years and if he needs some kind of heart surgery he is a young man and wil be better able to bounce back than an older person would.

The thing is I have been through the heart surgery wait and worry with 3 of my 4 grandparents and I just hate to think that I may have to do that with my husband.

Gotta continue to think positively but I am scared as hell.

Got Stress?

Well today was Eric's Stress test and Echocardiogram. I have to give the hospital kudos for the 2 tests starting right on time, but boo to whoever scheduled them 2 hours apart. The stress test was 1st and only took about 1/2 an hour so of course we got to sit in a waiting room for an hour and a half and got to see infomercials and religious programming. Not really my idea of great fun at 7:30 in the morning. I don't for sure how long it will be before Eric's doctor has the results and we know what if anything will need to be done.

I am cautiously optimistic that everything is going to be just fine. Just have to not think about the waiting.

So far this week has been going ok but it is only Tuesday.

In better news as my mother said today when I saw her 17 more days until Florida. I am ready for some hopefully warmer weather.I just have to get my bags packed and my car cleaned out of anything we don't need in there.

Monday, Monday

{sarcasm} Oh how I love Mondays.{/sarcasm}
Ok so now that we've determined that I am not all that fond of Mondays, I can say that so far today hasn't really been too bad.

The groundhogs, both the big guy in PA and the one up in Howell, Mi, Predicted 6 more weeks of winter this morning. Um yeah spring pretty much officially begins in about 6 weeks. Go figure.

Tomorrow is Eric's stress test and ekg. I am so ready for that to be over. We have to be at the hospital at 7am, the 2nd test is scheduled for 9 am. Tomorrow is going to be a long day but hopefully everything is going to be good news.We certainly could use some right now.
